Afghan Taliban intervened in a ceasefire between Pakistan and TTP

An immediate ceasefire has been imposed between Pakistan and TTP intervened by the Afghan Taliban. An official said following the talks on both the sides of Kabul. According to a tweet made by Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban spokesman confirmed a temporary ceasefire. Pakistan has accomplished operations against TTP and had controlled the militancy in the country but due to the Taliban’s takeover, TTP seems to gain power.   

TTP has been responsible for the gruesome attacks on Pakistan soil since 2007. On the other hand, TTP also confirmed talks in Kabul and a ceasefire to be placed till May 30. Whereas it was uncertain from the Pakistan’s government to who represented the talks. Prior to the last year, the ceasefire failed. The talks that were held in Afghanistan were unsuccessful as the agreement broke over the release of TTP prisoners captivated by Pakistan.
