The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold an emergency meeting tonight over Iran’s retaliatory drone and missile attack on Israel.
A spokesperson for UN Security Council President said all the fifteen members would hold serious discussion over the situation in the Middle East.Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that he was deeply alarmed about the very real danger of a devastating region-wide escalation.He urged all parties to exercise maximum restraint to avoid any action that could lead to major military confrontations on multiple fronts in the Middle East.
