Pakistan’s first-ever lunar satellite sends initial images

Pakistan's first-ever lunar satellite, iCUBE Qamar has sent initial images from orbit after successfully completing three rounds of the Moon.

The images were released today by Pakistan's Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO).

The satellite, iCube Qamar has completed three lunar orbits since being launched from China's Chang'e-6 spacecraft from Hainan, China on Friday last.

According to Pakistan Institute of Space Technology, the satellite was successfully deployed in orbit on Wednesday from Chang'E-6.
